What is the normal running temperature of the ace cos mine only runs at 60c which seems a little low,the bike also takes quite a while to warm up.
Any ideas...i was thinking maybe thermostat not opening properly?

My Cat's the same, not 100% about the ace though, i'm sure one of the ace owners will be along soon though. ps what do you mean by ' also takes a while to warm up', how long you talking about?

No thats normal Al. And if it doesn't go any higher be grateful. It means you've got one thats not gonna spew its coolant out everywhere at standstill. be grateful? is that as it makes such a mess when it mixes with the spilt oil from the other leaks

Daz, Nismos coming on the ride out maybe. You can have a chat about one of his gismo's. Pity it won't stop oil burning, but I'm not wasting any more money on it. It'll need a back tyre and front brake pads doing before MOT in january. Then I want something else.

Al When they are moving (20 mph+) the temp should settle down nice and low, but from stone cold, they take ages to warm up - about 11 mins from stone cold to 80 degrees
