Well thats the end of an era. I am taking the Ace to K2 this weekend. Had enough of big wide bikes. Not sure what I'm getting as it could be a while before I might be able to buy another one. Anyway if anyones interested you'll know where its at.  |

Oil use has gone down drastically. On the last ride out, I had to lend oil to someone else. Cheers Al for the kind comment.  Dave I havn't got a clue whats next. It'll have to be either a crackin' good deal, or something that really catches my eye. I thought I wanted a R1, but now I'm not so sure.  |

I know I do, but they are made for midgets. If I sit down on it too hard it'll disappear up my ass... Still, what a way to go - death by rocket powered rollerskate. Chris - whilst I rattle on, almost obsessively - about GSXR 1000s my short list still includes: Hayabusa (old or new one, though the new one is horrendous to look at) ZX12 (though a number of issues put me off) ZX10 04/05 insurance ridiculously cheap given the performance, check it out and you'll see GSXR 750 k6/7 best looking model by far Blackbird - yes yes I know, Honda etc, but it would be bored out and fettled to 1200cc, apparently they go pretty good when sorted out and you can pick em up cheap New shape blade - though I have to say, it's even smaller than the Gixer Am off to bike show in Nov time to have a look at what's about. Depending on financial circumstances next year it will *probably* be a 5-6 grand used bike of some kind, or an older minter with 2 grand worth of professional fettling and made to be a keeper. Or buying one someone else has already done all the work to  A different bike anyway. Spent too much for no gain this year, not the bikes' fault, just one o them things. Shame, as it never let me down but like you, ready for a change Bet the smilies come out all random again |

Been thinking about that project yoda, ideas I have.....
Apness, although my mate's 10R looks like a giant snot (the green ones go faster apparently) it' can't half boogie!! And it's not quite so mini moto ish as some of the others, although it is still small
