Went over to see Stu (Nismo) and his missus today. Took the wife and lad along. So we decide to go LLandudno to have a go on the tobogan course they got there. 750m sounds a long distance but it don't seem to last long. You get 2 runs. First run everyone steady on first corner then its no brakes all way down. On 2nd run Stu and myself jam on brakes at top for a natter while others are still coming up hill. His missus is next along yelling at us to move. So Stu sets off and I block her at top so she's stuck and has to push herself free. I set off after Stu trying to gap him. Come around last bend flat out, and fly under end of track sign, there's slow signs all along this bend. There's Stu getting off his tobogan and miserable git of an attendent is not looking thank god. I got about 10 yards to stop. I slam brake on and high side the kin thing. Come outta last corner sliding on my side. Grab tobogan and hand it to bloke. "Don't know me own strength, braked a bit hard." Then fall around pissing myself with laughter with Nismo. Others turn up and ask what we laughing at. Good day out though.

You lunatics!
I went to that ChillFactor_e ski slope last week (with a works discount).
Last time I skied was aged 11, so was quite a learning curve 23 years on.
Bloody good fun though and would recommend it (although it is £24 normally, so a bit steep)

They did an inflatable tyre for £6/ half an hour on the ski slope, called a sno tube. But there was too many skiers on the dry slope to let us have a go. Stu was the only one who could ski, mind I'd have given snow boarding a go, but at £74 for an hour an a half lesson, bit off putting.

With the discount we got through work, I paid a whole £7 for 90 minutes on the slope.
I have to admit that I did wimp it and re-learned to ski on the nursery slope first 30 minutes (which I'm told they usually chuck you out for if you're not on a lesson). But if I had gone on the big slope straight away I would have got chucked out for being dangerous, so I got lucky and it worked out well.
