As you know Glowboy (Justin) had major surgery last year, on his spine, lungs etc... After all this surgery he has gone through he still has not got his movement back and still in pain. He has seen the Specialist who tells him there is not anything more they can do for him so Morphine will be part of his life now... So he is really down, can't ride his bike far which he is gutted by. My sister has asked me if I would like to join a couple of people she has already asked to go a ride out (not sure how far as Justin can't ride for long) to try and chirp him up abit. So if there any of you guys that live around the Stafford area that are up for a little ride out, then back to Justins for a bit of bar-b-que food I am sure he will be grateful. Saturday 13th meeting at Justin's in Stafford at 11am. If anyone would like to come along please could you PM me for his address to meet. Cheers Daz

Daz I would like to come out, but I have no bike (cough, ahem ) and unfortunately I work saturdays. I can't get time off at moment, because I'm covering for people who had to miss their holidays whilst I was off work. I dunno some people have no consideration if others want holidays. Anyway I hope you all have a great time, and if he's not using that bike much, I'll take him pillion on it. You know 2 old crocks together, well maybe one old crock at least.

I don't think he would make a very good passenger Yoda Glad to hear your back at work, so you must be feeling a lot better. Have you had any luck with your bike or are you looking for another?

Bike was a write off. As I was on sick pay for 7 weeks, some of the bike moneys gone on bills. I picked a bad time to have an accident really. Car tax and insurance, plus 2 front tyres, we've took a bit of a hammering money wise. So its all on back burner at moment as I'm still not fully fit, maybe a couple of weeks away from being as good as I was pre crash.

Only a couple of weeks sounds good, especially if you'll be back to pre-crash condition.

The fluid on my knee has greatly reduced with the walking I do. But on the downside my torn groin muscle is sore every other day. Not exactly ideal for riding a bike.
