Plodders your man for this. Lee has done a few track days last year at Oulton Park. He has posted a thread on here about it.

Graz Where do you live mate? I'm doing Oulton Park with No Limits on Saturday 20th Feb. I only do Oulton at the moment because it's local and still cheap. You can just drive/ride into the circuit when a trackday is going on free of charge if you want to do a recce or get your bike noise tested. Major track day organisers are: www.nolimitstrackdays.com/acatalog/alluktrackevents.htmlThese are my favorites as they don't piss about with 3 sighing laps and in (you just do 3 laps beihind the instructor and then carry on for the rest of the session). Theya also offer free instruction. www.focusedevents.com/events.asp?event_type=UKThese are OK, no probelms. Daft 3 sighting lap & in rule www.hottrax-online.com/index.php?cPath=22_45Never done one with them MotorsportVision run their own days that tend to be a little bit cheaper but you pay for instruction (not compulsory). www.clubmsv.com/bike-home.aspxI did one with them and they also put entry apex cones out. Daft 3 sighting lap & in rule These are more like a booking agent, so probably cost more www.trackdays.co.ukThere are 2 main trackday forums that I know of (thanks to Al) www.trackdayriders.co.uk/tdr/forum/default.aspwww.throttlemonkeys.co.uk/Always good to have a banter/have someone to beat/show you round and get some help (and take the piss) if you crash. And helps get a space in a garage if you turn up at anything other than the drack of dawn. Get a trailer/van and wets on wheels unless you're summer only (but then it's expensive). If you're on the wrong tyres or worried about getting home after acrash it spoils the fun IMHO. Any questions just ask as I've done 3 now and 4th on Saturday.

Lee quick question please. These track days your attending at Oulton, do they have any professional set up people go to these? I know some track days do at other circuits, you know "Set your bikes suspension up to suit you for £45" types.

Yes, "100% suspension" were there yesterday
You pay a fee and they help you out all day. Nothing doing adjustment wise on mine though so I don't bother.
I guess they have a website

Thanks for that. There was a few there on saturday from the Thunder forum. The guy with the silver/yellow cat went as did Glynne with the yellow KR coloured 06 R1. They came out with us in 08 on the cheshire run.

What group were they in and were they on thos bikes or something else?
To be honest I'm liking these trackdays and after hooning around as fast as you want with minimal risk of some numpty taking you out or getting a tug, riding on the road is losing its appeal.
Oh and I seem to have a buyer for my EXUP. I've got a deposit but he needs a few weeks to sort the funds.

Glad you got a buyer. Just hope its not one of those new members on the other forum, who order stuff then don't want to pay for it.
