Aye its 12 months exactly to the day since I upended the R6. 12 months without a bike, feck me, not done that for over 8 years. Still waiting on Andy to see what he buys, but he's quiet at moment. I'm not sure about what I want, let alone will buy if anything. I'm not giving up, but for those in the know, there is a reason for the delay.

What happened to the R6 in the end? could you not have bought it back from the insurance and done it up or was it beyond repair?

It was sold for scrap. K2 tried to buy it back, but because it'd already been an accident damaged repair beforehand, insurance wouldn't let it go back on the road. A breakers yard at Prees near Whitchurch got it.

So is a few at anglesy this summer then and Oulton in the autumn when the prices drop?
Get some WOW sorted if you do winter days as even when it's just cold, it's wets that work.
I'm trying to get a day sorted for after easter. my exup is due to be picked up soon and that will give me space to get the new track bike sorted. I'm getting the parts together to make it into a 600 but thundercat exhaust headers seem to be few and far between unless I want to pay about £145.

No idea Al as it's not ready for a trackday yet and domestic issues are hindering me booking one at the moment.
It was a tired ex-race bike by the look of it, so needed everything checking. Almost there but I've got a 600 engine and stuff almost sorted out, so may do that before it goes on the track.
Waiting for wheel bearings but I ordered them through "The bearing shop" online and the service I'm receiving is crap. So I don't know whether they are coming or if I'll get a refund. I paid paypal through a credit card so I'll get my oney back one way or another but I don't understand why businesses act like pillocks when it's so easy for reputations to be damaged.
